$1500 Resort Credit! What?? Wow!!
Oh my goodness!! Are you looking for a suggestion for a honeymoon, an anniversary or just a 5-night getaway? I have a fantastic suggestion. I just returned from the Aventura Spa Palace – Riviera Maya last Wednesday night. From my area (the Southeast), it is an ideal flight itinerary. You can leave early in the morning and will be there by lunch!
The Palace and Hard Rock Resorts are offering a $1500 resort credit for stays of 5-8 nights; and it is an enormous added value. I got to experience this offer first-hand. Just to share-My sister and I used all but $2 of the credit and all we had to pay was the 11% Mexican (government imposed) tax on the services, excursions, spa treatments for a total of $140+. It was amazing, and such a GREAT offer. I had a 50 minute massage one day, then we each had almost a 2-hour massage with seaweed detox wrap, both had pedicures, both had facials with eye lift and an excursion to Chichen Itza. Several couples we traveled with got the different couples massages and loved.
Several in my group already want to return to this all adult resort or with their families on the Aventura Cove Palace side. These properties will soon be converted to the Hard Rock sometime within this year. The transition has already begun; and they are very careful as to not disturb current guests in their process. I have booked several honeymoon couples to these resorts. Another that you may want to consider is Le Blanc is Cancun. BUT being close Tulum and other excursions will be the advantage of Aventura Spa. The rooms are very nice with king size beds, full Jacuzzi in each room, spa bath products, great shower, balcony, stocked mini-bar, in-room liquor dispenser, room service, etc…
I will tell you that if a “walk into the actual ocean” beach is on your list, this is not the place. There is a protected beach cove/ocean where you will see crystal clear the bottom and only run into the occasional friendly fish which you can feed bread to. But let me say that I never went in the pools…they were beautiful and fun…But our group loved the beach and stayed down there where they also have beach cocktail service. Very large property with great pools, activities, shows and other entertainment. The food is good and no problem with reservations. You will not be disappointed. Again the added value of being able to use these resort credits is astounding. My sister and I did not even book anything until the day we got there; and got everything we wanted with only $2 left. I highly recommend taking advantage of this offer at one of the properties. There is also a Hard Rock in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – if you want an entirely different destination.
Also – If you are open to traveling on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, the air can be lower. So if you are looking at 6-7 days, could you travel from Thursday-the following Wednesday.
